Megan Matuzak is a portrait photographer based in Philly and operating out of The Loom. She started as a music photojournalist traveling the US to cover big festivals and shows, but grew into experimenting with her own skills in portraiture after landing her studio in 2016. Megan has welcomed drag queens, bands, solo artists, sculptors, painters, dancers and friends into the space and has created a spectrum of stirring photographs. Photography is how Megan Matuzak takes up space in this world and she wants to share it too.

Prism Water Pipes
Our mission is to modify the water pipe by design to eliminate issues based around breaking glass, cleaning, and the simple fact that you cannot change a solid glass piece after it’s been purchased.
This is all done through the modular concept. Using our aluminum clamps, and US glass manufacturing process we are able to achieve a perfect seal making the piece air tight and allowing the owner to handle it as if it were a solid piece of glass.

For the last forty years I managed the Community College of Philadelphia Ceramics room. The Ceramics program was part of the larger Art Curriculum which led to a Associates degree in Art. I am now retired, working and developing my own work in both Terra-Cotta and Porcelain. I fashion decorative bowls and platters for the corporate office and waiting rooms.

Jen Blazina
Philadelphia artist Jen Blazina’s work represents a sense of holding onto a place in time. Inspired by her grandfather’s photography, she blends surreal imagery and found objects in her cast glass objects. Her work combines her background in photography and printmaking through the use of digital imagery imprinted on cast and re-fabricated objects. This process, she says, allows her to “recast the history of the objects as part of my own current voice.”
Her work is represented by Wexler Gallery in Philadelphia, Koelsch Gallery in Houston, Morgan Contemporary Glass Gallery in Pittsburgh, and Packer Schopf Gallery in Chicago.
